About the fruit
Hand-picked fruit is delivered to cold storage by refrigerated vehicles that serve only for that purpose.
Fresh fruit is received by a technologist who performs qualitative and quantitative reception. According to the controlling plans, the technologist takes fruit samples, sends them for analysis and identifies the origin of the goods due to the mandatory traceability procedure.
The palletized fruit then goes to refrigeration, exposed to a cooling mode at 0–2 °C. The cooled fruit is frozen in freezing tunnels at -30 °C; freezing is completed when the temperature reaches -18 °C.
Deep-frozen fruit, packed in boxes and on shelves, is stored in chambers at -20 °C, prepared for processing. Fruits are processed in various quality categories and packaged depending on customer requirements.
